EHR Certification

Post by maryh » Thu Jun 28, 2012 5:59 am

Hello,
I have one of my offices doing their final conversion tomorrow. They are also going to be using the EHR. Can they convert to the most recent version of Open Dental that our company has available, or do they need to only convert to 11.0? Thanks!

They can convert to the most recent version. This is because the incentive rules state that the certified version (11.0) must be purchased, but that a different version (like 12.2) may be used after purchase during year one. After year one, you must use only certified versions to get your incentive. But by then, we will certify a higher version.
