"This is an old database. Conversion (needs MySQL 4.1 not 5)

Trying to set up for a UK practice, using the db supplied in the download file UK.zip, and I get this error message.

"This is an old database. Conversion must be done using MySQL 4.1 (not MySQL 5.0) or it will fail"

But I've just installed the Trial version, which installed MySQL 5.x; I could remove that and install 4.1, but presumably I shouldn't expect the Trial version to work with that?

I've proceeded, and it tells me the conversion worked OK - but I can't know it's not corrupt. If so this would seem to be an unresolvable conundrum. Any advice?

My apologies. We will post a new UK database just to be sure.

I thought about it some more. I don't think the UK version would provide any advantage over the blank database that came with the trial version. I think the database that comes with the trial version is just what you need. But I also think that the database that you attempted to update will also work fine, because it didn't give you an error message during the update. I will edit the UK page to make it more clear that the UK database is not needed.
