I seem to have found a bug in the appointment module.
If I move an appointment that has a provider other than the default provider from one column to the next, the provider of the moved appointment (and thus the color of the appointment) will be changed to the default provider.
Version is 5.2.14 on Windows.
Can someone confirm this - or is there a setting I've missed somewhere?
Provider switches to default provider when moving an appt.

Hmmm... I just upgraded to 5.3.14 and the problem persists.
To explain further, we have different providers set up depending on what type of production the patient is and where the service is done:
OMS1 is for general oral surgery out of one office
OMS2 is for general oral surgery out of the second office
IMPL is for implant procedures out of office one
IMP2 is for implant procedures out of office two
and these are all assigned different colors so that the staff knows what and where for each appointment. Our appointment book has differerent columns:
exam 1
exam 2
surgery 1
surgery 2
followup 1
followup 2
which are each of our rooms.
So, if I want to move an appointment from exam 1 to exam 2, the provider (and thus the color) of the appointment always move back to the default provider (OMS1).
I'll have to go back and look at the way we're setup - I'm a P.C., so we want the corporation name showing on the insurance forms as opposed to my name, and this might be buggering things up in the appointment book.

I will look into it, but I can't until next week, as I'm on vacation.

I can't duplicate it. When I move appointments from one column to the next, it always changes according to the column, never to the primary provider for the patient. Are any of the providers assigned to the operatories hidden? I would need to see your screen I think.
