Help with the upgrade to 7.5

Post by jfd2 » Wed Dec 22, 2010 3:36 pm

Hello all,

Our office upgraded to 7.5 and it has been running for 2 days now. since we came from 5.x and we are trying to get familiar with all the new features. Here we have several thing got confused and please help.

1) in the claim insurance payment dialog. most of the time the "Total" button is activated, but at least 2 cases today that this button is inactivated. although I ended up using "By Procedure" and it worked. We would like to know how sometime it is inactivated and would like this to be avoided.

2) for some reason, the tooth chart in the Chart Module disappeared on the left side corner which shown as a blank area. but when the "show Big" dropdown clicked. it will appear in another window. how to let the tooth chart display in the upleft corner?

Thanks very much for your help and happy holidays!

Jfd
Best regards,

Jeff

1. It's deactivated if the plan is PPO. You have to enter PPO by procedure in order for each writeoff to be attached to the correct procedure. Otherwise, it causes serious problems when we try to do the math.

Thank you very much, Dr. Sparks. That makes sense now.

As for the disappearance of the tooth chart on the left corner, is there anything related to the optimizing of the tooth chart? Any place that I can reset that?

Then you need a better graphics card or a newer driver for your existing card.
