admitdate?

For complex topics that regular users would not be interested in. For power users and database administrators.

admitdate?

I noticed that the patient table has a field admitdate. I was wondering where this data is entered at/pulled from. Ours seems to be always the default 1/1/0001 for every patient.

I think you have to turn on the Hospital features under Setup->Easy Options. Then the Admit Date (and Ward) fields will show on the bottom left of the patient edit window.
