Counting Visits

Post by atd » Mon Jul 21, 2008 2:43 pm

One of the things that we frequently report on as a non-profit is patient visits . I've looked around and haven't found anything in the forum or user manual about how to report on this. Does anyone have a query for this already? If not, should I be searching for appointments with a status of Complete and counting those? What if there wasn't a scheduled appointment for that patient (i.e. walk-in) - I'm assuming those completed procedures would not be counted as a visit if I query on completed appointments only. Any help would be appreciated.

You would count appointments. Walkins should have appointments created. The problem with trying to run a query on procedures is that some appointments might not have procedures. So I think Visit=Appointment.
