Appointment Card Printout

Post by Tauqir » Wed Jun 11, 2008 12:03 pm

Can I get some feedback on what kind of setup people have when printing out appointment details. What kind of printer and the type and size of stationary used? I had previously been using a standard laser printer with compliment slips. Unfortunately I am no longer able to do this with OD as it will not allow editing of the layout of the appointment details. Thanks

What do you mean by "appointment details"? Do you mean a reminder card that you give to the patient at the front desk? Or do you mean a postcard that you mail?

I mean details such as date, time, clinician etc. for the next appointment. This would be given to the patient at the front desk once the patient has made the appointment. It can be done to some degree by right clicking the appointment and selecting 'print card'. However this only prints out on A4 and i am unable to edit the layout.

Wouldn't it be great if you could right click the appoiniment and print out an appointment label to stick on whatever you wanted. :-) The patient could even stick them on a calendar or their address book.

I'm going to put an appointment label down on the future versions list as high priority.

Right, we would not want to motivate irrational squeaks.
