Purging Old Saved Treatment Plans

Post by parksjdp » Tue Jun 10, 2008 9:40 am

Is there a way to purge old saved treatment plans and have them archived in the images module? For example, we have a couple of patients that have 8-10 saved treatment plans that have been completed, however we want to keep the perm record of them just not in the TP module. Would it be best to just print them and scan them to the images module?

push print screen on your keyboard with the treatment plan open. Then go to the images module and click paste. It will put a copy there. You can do this with anything on your screen, even if not in OD. We do it all the time to image CareCredit #'s for pts instead of trying to write down the whole long # they give you over the internet. DMF

If you hold Alt key while you hit "Print Screen", it will only save the active window to the clipboard. In this case, Open Dental only. Hitting "Print Screen" will save the whole screen to clipboard. It may not be what you prefer.
