Satellite office

What is the 'Best' way to use Open Dental in a satellite office? I want the same data base since the some of same patients will be seen in both offices (accounting nightmare). Can you use a program like PCsynch? Or would it be better to use the backup feature in Open Dental and restore the 'new' data at each office.

Terminal services is best at the moment. Also see http://www.open-dent.com/manual/multiplelocations.html . One more thing is that you will need two registration keys for Open Dental. If both offices are running full-time, then you will need to pay the monthly fee twice. But if you are alternating between offices instead of running them simultaneously, then we usually give you a break on the price. But you'll still need that second registration key for licensing reasons.
