Web Version Demo is available

Post by jordansparks » Fri May 02, 2008 2:31 pm

See http://www.open-dent.com/manual/webversion.html
And no, we do not have a timetable for release. But what you see so far was built in approximately 3 weeks, and now that the framework is in place, development will likely pick up speed.

It will work in Firefox soon. Silverlight is still in beta, and they are still working on the Firefox functionality. They are also improving a lot of features that will make development easier and faster on our end.

Looks pretty good in IE(could not login in FF). I have noticed that physical F1-F3 buttons are reserved for IE functionalities.

So we lose three function keys. I think offices could still organize their views to accommodate that. Thanks for the heads up.

Is there any changes in this web version or is it dead this project?
Has anyone continued the development or have any idea if this webversion is being updated?

Thanks.

Once we make progress with the legal licensing issues, we will revive that project. It will take a just a few days to get it functional again. But no point doing that if nobody is even allowed to use it.
