Post by cpsarathi79 » Wed Apr 16, 2008 9:46 am

Can any one please tell me how to use the Auto Notes.

I have created auto notes from Setup -> Auto Notes.

But dont know how to pull this into user interface where Patient information is displayed.

Please refer below URL for its documentation.

Please also let me know where the progress note displayed for the patient.

Thanks in advance.

See http://www.open-dent.com/manual/notes.html for an overview of notes in general. I would actually stay away from autonotes until you are an advanced user. Instead, use the Procedure Notes as described on the page above.

Thanks for your immediate reply.

I got the Auto notes functionality.

Basically I was looking to add Questionnaire kind of form into the Patient Registration form to fill additional medical history etc.,
For that I was thinking to use this Auto notes.

But I have got other option Questionnaire in OD. But it is not pulling up the data already entered for the patient. Every time it duplicates the data for the patient.
I am using OD V5.6.14.

Thanks in advance.

Finally spent some time setting up my Auto Notes.
They are pretty detailed.
Because of that, I have run into a rather irritating characteristic.
Is it possible to change the order of the controls?
I find that I get about 10 controls, then I realize I left one out.
It sure would be nice to be able to add it in the appropriate position without removing and replacing them.

Cheers!!
