Is the email spam? If so, it's probably contains a forged header/return address, quite common these days.
You may want to post the headers of the email for one of us to have a look at, or forward one of them to Jordan if you're really concerned about it.

Conversions@open-dent.com is a legitimate email address. I have used this email address numerous times in the last month as I worked with James in the Open Dental Conversion Department. I have been using Open Dental for a month or so and the Conversion Department assists you in converting date from your previous practice management software to Open Dental.
