SoftDent Conversion - How Did It Go?

I'm contemplating switching to Open Dental from SoftDent and am wondering if anyone out there can give me an idea as to how much of a headache the switch was.

We did a test conversion, and it appears as if all our fee schedules are messed up because SoftDent and Open Dental handle insurance fee schedules differently. If I am going to have to manually enter the correct fee schedule for each patient, that's going to be a real non-starter. I'm waiting on a call from the conversion team who, I'm hoping, will tell me there is a workaround.
