Scanners

Any opinions on scanners? I want to purchase a fast duplex scanner, but I want it to be able to be used directly in OD. If I get a Fujitsu Snapscan s500 I have to create a folder on the desktop, scan to it, then import into OD. But Fujitsu has the fi5110c that is faster and TWAIN so I could go direct into OD, but OD does not support duplex, yet? And the fi5110c is about $200 more than the s500. Is the feeling OD will eventually be able to scan PDF's directly within OD, or will OD improve the TWAIN functionality to include duplex. I hate to over spend and have scanner that is not as functional, but I almost hate underspending more. Any help? Jordan?

I don't have much of an opinion. I think it sort of depends on how much multipage scanning you want to do and your comfort level. I don't know which way we'll take the programming.

Any update on this? I am looking to buy a fi5110c and would really like to be able to do duplex and multi-page direct into OD.
