We're planning to try out voice perio charting & I need to add a speaker and a microphone to the PC's we're using in the hygiene ops. I'm trying to figure out what form factor is best. I'm thinking the hygienist might prefer a wireless microphone they wear, but probably the only way to get this is in a headset format with headphones (one or two earpads; seems like a one earpad model would be better). Is it best to use a full headset where the hygienist is the only one who hears the computer responses, or should there be a speaker so the patient also hears the response?
Curious what others have found to be the best setup, and specifically what product you are using.
Thanks!
