Email Encryption - please recommend the one you like

Post by champlainsmiles » Tue Apr 09, 2019 12:48 pm

I called OD and they directed me to list of 5 companies, but wouldn't say which one works best with OD and also costs less. any input would be greatly appreciated. The 5 companies are:

Comodo
GlobalSign
Symantec
Entrust
Trustwave

Thanks,

Jeff

https://www.sendinc.com/
super user friendly.

Ssendinc works very well, we have been using it for over a year now. very easy to use
with OD v 17.2 or higher, you do not need any plugin...
OD added the option to have multiple Email providers, and you can choose which email to send from by clicking on the little drop down arrow in the email module.
SMTP : smtp.sendinc.net
Port 465

This worked perfectly!

Note that you have to obtain an alias e-mail address from the Sendinc website - click on their settings and "enable Sendinc email alias" . Then type in the alias as the user name.

Also, see this page for the e-mail settings to enter in https://opendental.com/manual/emailerrors.html
