Create Planned Appointment with Highest priority - Pop-up

Post by drawab » Thu Nov 15, 2018 12:09 am

Recently a dialog popup has started to annoy us as it seems to pop-up very frequently

Code: Select all

Create Planned Appointment with highest priority planned treatment selected?
When we chart a treatment for a particular patient and in the process hop to the "images" section to view his/her pictures or xrays - or go anywhere else this dialog pops up - and each time we have to cancel to proceed further

It even bugs the log-out window - Our practice has a 5 min timeout - but if this dialog pops up then the system does not entirely log-out and the chart remains open for hours unless someone physically cancels the pop-up - then Open Dental log-out - at times I worry this may also become a privacy issue as someone else can see the name and treatment planned for someone else

Is there a way to disable this popup?

I apologize for the annoyance. Many other users have found this feature disruptive. You can turn it off in Setup -> Chart -> Chart Preferences with the "Prompt for Planned Appointment" check box.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. In addition to the preference already suggested, we have fixed the issue of the Planned Appointment prompt incorrectly showing when the security auto-logoff is triggered.
