Warn: Preauths cause more insurance estimate than plan max!

When preauths have been received, their totals on a treatment plan will tally in, sometimes greater than the insurance plan annual max! Be sure to look at 'Pri Ins' column total to ensure it is not over the max.

In the screenshot, the insurance plan max is $1,500. On this page alone, Open Dental has calculated $2,632 benefit. It is because, shown in the red box, were pre-auths received last year.

There is small text like "Over annual max", but in a busy office, you don't read every word. You see the bottom right "Pat" portion when reviewing with the patient and expect that to be a close estimate for what they owe. This just cost us $1,400.
