Controlled substances

Post by klinlv » Thu Dec 14, 2017 10:20 am

New regulations in Nevada require that Rx for Sched CII to CIV have ICD Medical Diagnosis code on the Rx

I want the ICD code to only show up on the controlled substance Rx

Any Suggestions ?

One way that you could address this right now is to edit the sheet for Rx to expand the text box size for Sig and place a label under it for ICD code. Then in the Sig textbox on the Rx for the patient, you could enter the ICD code on a new line. This wouldn't be ideal because it would require you to remember to manually enter the ICD code for each patient's prescription, but at least it would keep you in compliance.

Thanks Chris that's what I did but was looking for a cleaner solution
Maybe in a future upgrade I'm sure more states will require it going forward

I would submit a feature request so that all our other Nevada offices can add votes to get a cleaner solution.
