2 new computers - Windows 10 with older windows 7 systems

Are there any issues mixing windows 10 computers networked with Windows 7 computers? I use opendental and XDR.

Thanks,
Kenny

There should not be any problem with that setup. We use Open Dental here with a smattering of Windows 7, 8, and 10 computers.

I have a mixture in my office: server networked to 6 Windows 10 computers and one Windows 7 (hooked up to the pano).

The Gendex VIXWIN imaging program is referenced through mapped drives on the server. And whenever I update Open Dental, I have to manually reconnect the mapped drives on the Windows 10 computers (the Windows 7 computer just seems to automatically work without this step). It's easy to do - I enter the address for the VIXWIN folder on the server and simply right-click and map the drive again, but it is a little quirk that only I seem to have.

best,
