I'm sure this is a silly question, but how can I see what version # of the software I'm using. I Installed a new workstation at an office and they are claiming it's layout it different than the reset. I'm assuming I didn't install the same version.
Thanks
Version Number
Re: Version Number
You can see the version number within Open Dental by in the main toolbar at the top, selecting Help -> Update. Then you will be able to see the version you are currently on.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

Re: Version Number
This is what I looked for before I posted the questions. My Help menu doesn't have an "About" option.jsalmon wrote:Also, Help > About

Re: Version Number
Well that's weird
You could always right click on the OpenDental.exe app in C:\Program Files (x86)\Open Dental\ and go to Properties > Details and you'll see it listed there under Product Version

Re: Version Number
It's not that weird, they're just using an older version of Open Dental that doesn't have the About menu option. They just need to update OR use the Update window like Chris suggested.wjstarck wrote:Well that's weird
