Practiceworks cloud user conversion to Open Dental

How difficult is a transition from an existing cloud based practice management software (Practiceworks) to Open Dental? How different is the conversion compared to converting from a server based software?

We have not yet worked with a "cloud based" PracticeWorks. If you do have a "cloud based" PracticeWorks you would need to contact PractriceWorks and request a download of your data. Then we will evaluate if we can do a conversion from those files.

Also if you scan documents into your PracticeWorks that might be a separate download so you would need to discuss that with PracticeWorks to make sure they give you that also.

You might be referring to your server being cloud based and it has your PracticeWorks files on it.

If you have access to your cloud server it should be easy to get connected and collect the files we need to do a conversion.

If you don't have access to your cloud server then we should have a discussion over the phone to see what your options are.
