Post by noestervemb » Sat Apr 22, 2017 1:59 pm

We are multiple provider and when we make a new patient i figured out how to set the default primary provider. But somehow the system also assing a default secondary provider. Right now the default secondary provider is a dentist. How do we get rid of this?

There are two ways to create a new patient: from the patient select window or from the family module of an existing patient. When creating from the patient select window, the secondary provider is not set. When creating from the family module, the secondary provider will be the existing patient's secondary provider. Currently there is not a way to stop the existing patient's secondary provider from being assigned to the new patient.

There are many more ways to create a patient; importing Web Forms, utilizing the Web Sched New Patient Appointment eService, etc.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
