DIY Paperless forms advice

Post by jdub » Thu Mar 23, 2017 10:41 am

I am considering YAPI for paperless forms. I don't really want to pay so much considering that we probably won't use their other services.

Has anyone had any success setting up tablet-based new patient paperwork, consents, and treatment plans on their own in Open Dental? I want to be able to select a patient on a tablet, see a list of forms, select one, have the patient fill out and sign on the tablet. I started to try this before but the tablet I had was too small to actually use the forms.

Does anyone have a working do-it-yourself system or is it best to just go with a third party provider?

Thanks,
Jack

Our Facebook group has had several conversations about YAPI and Open Dental forms: https://www.facebook.com/groups/OpenDentalUsers.
You'll have to send a request to join, but once you're in, searching for YAPI produces fruitful results.
