I got an android phone and sometimes emergency patients call me on the weekend and i am not near a computer. It looks like the open dental mobile web login lets you see a pharmacy list, patients allergies and medical history any appointments. Does anybody use this? Does it work pretty well?
It would be nice if you could see the chart notes also if you colleague saw the patients and you dont know what they talked about or what happened. But i dont think that is possible?

Re: Open Dental on your cellphone
Currently there is not a way to view chart notes on the Mobile Web version of Open Dental. Pretty much your only option for that is to log in a computer that has Open Dental from your phone using something like TeamViewer. This is far from ideal, but it might be helpful in a pinch.
Re: Open Dental on your cellphone
We're working on enhancing the mobile web right now actually. We've been getting requests for a better schedule layout (operatory based), the ability to schedule appointments, etc.

I like the idea of showing the communication logs with the patient. I'll suggest we make a lite version of the progress notes for the app but I can't make any guarantees ATM.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
