Problems with Make Recall

Post by GarySab » Tue Jan 24, 2017 8:51 pm

I have a pediatric dental practice and see both children and young adults. A standard x-ray regimen in my office is to take 2 bitewings and 2 PA's on children once a year and for young adults it is 4 BWX once a year. When we click on the Make Recall button to make a recall appointment for a young adult, it will sometimes select 2 BWX and 4 BWX for the procedures or 2 BWX, 4 BWX, and a Panorex. The 2 Bitewings and 4 Bitewings are set up for yearly intervals and the Panorex for every 5 years. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

What version of Open Dental are you currently on?

Your current version can be found via Help | Update.

Does the problem still happen with new recalls because it sounds like you were affected by the bug "Child prophy procedures were not being assigned to a child's recall appointment." that was present in versions prior to v16.3.39 but are now at a version that no longer has the issue.

Yes, it is still happening with the newest version. I just tried making an appointment for a 17 year old patient who hasn't been here in 2 years using the make recall button and it scheduled an appointment to take 2 BWX and 4 BWX. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't have any brilliant ideas off the top of my head but I'll make a ticket for this issue right now and get back to you.
