User definited fields in appointment bubble?

Post by Janet Century » Mon Nov 14, 2016 4:01 pm

We use a lot of user definited appointment and patient fields. Is it possible to add them to the appointment pop up bubble??

Thanks

Janet

For the appointment bubble you can have patient fields but not the appointment fields by customizing your Display Fields.

For the actual appointment box, you can have both (and even select specific patient and appointment fields that are pertinent to you) via customzing your Appointment View.

Side note: In v16.4 (or v17.1, whichever comes next) there will be a new feature that will let you further filter the appointment bubble so that you don't have to have every single patient field showing.

Thanks for the response. I tried to customize the bubble and I did do some of that, but what I'm understanding from you is that only pre-defined FieldNames can show in the bubble. We have made custom patient FieldNames (for example indicating whether or not they have HIPAA permissions on file) that we do already show on the Appointment Edit Screen and that show on specific Apppointment Views and would be helpful to be in the bubble. I do not see the option to use those in the Appointment Bubble currently. Correct?
