Version 16.3 is a feature packed version indeed. Since documenting features isn't an immediate process, it is worth mentioning to anyone who is interested in using Dropbox as their image storage solution that if you decide to use Dropbox, please contact us when you do. Having an image storage type that integrates via the web is a huge feat, and we want to ensure that there are no issues or unexpected behavior when making the switch to Dropbox. It is also worth mentioning that if you use Dropbox, you should be at or above 16.3.2 (when it's released), as there was an issue with talking to Dropbox's API that wasn't evident in development.

Out of curiosity, why use dropbox for image storage?

Using Dropbox for image storage allows people to use Middle Tier without bloating their images (by storing in their database). It also takes IT complexities out of ensuring each location for large practices has access to a particular server for AtoZ server storage.

It's coming. We just released 16.3 to the wild. It takes us some time to finalize all the builds.

Hi
Update
My compiled version does not throw the Above error -16.3.1
Also as I modified the sheets I realized that It is mandatory for each drug to have the following
- Provider s sign
_patient Name
-DOB
As they are all on the single sheet of paper , we put them up collectively together as a single cluster, and legally are not required to needlessly repeat data, Our format is as follows. Therefore, is it possible to remove the mandatory requirement for the above field for the drug2 ,3... etc

" Patient Name Age/Sex
Provider Name Date

Drug 1 Disp1
Sig1

Drug 2 Disp2
Sig2

Drug 3 Disp3
Sig3

Sign of the provider

The issue with not requiring those fields is that each one of those prescriptions can also be printed by themselves and thus would need those fields. But you can make your own custom multi rx sheet and remove those fields from display if you don't want to print them.

Yes thanks for your reply ,However if you had tried it you would realise that you cannot prescribe a second drug without adding the provider,DOB and Patient Name a second time.

Thirdly, may I beta test for you OD developers , the foreign version could report bugs.

Thanks all again

Now that a foreign version has been released to the public you can beta test at your own risk. Feel free to report bugs you find to our forum, by email (service@opendental.com), or by calling in (if you're on support).

Now with the Dropbox option...

It is either A-Z folders or Dropbox right?..

There isn't an automated way for a single user not utilizing the middle tier and using the A-Z folder to also backup their images folder in a DropBox business account right?

Does Dropbox offer a folder monitor? That sounds like what you really want.

Thanks Team OD for finally coming up with Multiple Prescriptions , we have started to use it in Live settings.
Having entered many drugs and various combinations - A need to have a search option apart from scroll is being felt by the doctors.
This would not only improve the ease of use but also add to the ability to adding a variety.
Thanking for everything

For a helpful hint: Since the list is alphabetical, I added a period and a few spaces (fewer spaces will appear below more spaces) before the names of my commonly used RX's for easy access at the top of your list in the order you want. This is unobtrusive on the Rx print out and puts your common Rxs right where you can see them without scrolling!

That's a great idea for a feature request! I also appreciate Dr. Fuch's workaround below.

Hi
Dr. Fuch's workaround is amazing.
However, that would only work for the same purpose of sorting frequently used drugs.
the brand name is the selling name -What we do is in the comments section we add the following
- Enter the drug name /combination of drug names
-Contraindications,Adverse reactions and cautions-
-Prices and offers

A search box would allow us to search by drug category- all Ranitidine formulations
All the drugs that affect kidney'
All brands on Offer-currently
So a search bar is of great use to the context

So is the multiple prescriptions on 1 paper working good now? I see the beta 16.3.17 but not sure if switching over is good idea? I currently on 16.2.59.

Is it worth upgrading to the beta to get 2 rx on 1 paper?
