Perio charting previous exams

Post by jonesrdh » Mon Aug 22, 2016 11:33 am

I used to be able to click on a specific perio chart and have the option to change the provider or date of service.

Now if I click on a date it opens whatever date is at the top of the 5-6 dates seen and stays there no matter what other dates I click on. This happened at our old office on our laptops and we moved in May and have all new computers and it is still happening. The only time it is a real issue is when entering probe depths from perio offices. We have a few patients seeing either us or perio every 2 mo so we don't make them get probed every visit we just use the periodontists numbers. But I can't change the date once I create the exam. Is there a setting that may have been marked?

I'm assuming you're double clicking on the exam you've created to get the 'Edit Perio Date' window, correct?
What's prohibiting you from changing the date? Is it greyed out?

Yes, I double clicked on 8/22/2016

12/11/2012 pops up with the date change window

I closed it and tried to click 8/22/2016 and it pops back to the 2012 one, oddly any exams before 12/11/2012 open properly to be edited but any after that date do not. I wonder if a setting or update changed something.

Interesting. Which version of Open Dental are you using?

There have been many bug fixes to the perio chart recently. I recommend you update to the most recent stable version of Open Dental.
