Adding a simple Dr Note (not a procedure note)

How do I add a simple Dr Note (not a procedure note)? For example, I take an emergency call at night and want to document the conversation in OD.

We use procedure code "Ztoth" for a specific tooth clinical note
and procedure code " Zclin" for a general clinical note

CommLog is the best.
Built in already, nothing to add, kind of the industry standard for after hours communication or any communication, easily searchable later on.

Agreed, any note regarding communication with the patient should be done with a communications log.

If it is a short and simple generic note about the patient, we have a little generic note section just underneath the tooth chart within the chart module.
