HTML code in email items.

Post by ForrestGumpDDS » Sat Mar 05, 2016 3:24 pm

Hello,
I came across a weird issue. When I am looking at the chart of one of the patients I see the email item and it looks like a bunch of html code with all html tags, body text, headers etc. When I double click on it it shows me a window with a properly formatted human readable text in the body container. Status - Received.
This email came to our gmail address (I do have a few addresses in my domain as well and I did not notice the same behavior there).
How could that happened?

Anyone can send you an HTML email. Typically your patients will not send HTML emails (unless they have a signature or something in HTML) so we do not try and show the HTML email correctly in the chart module, we only show it correctly within the email windows.
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
