claim validation before sending

Post by fschiopu » Thu Aug 06, 2015 7:24 am

Hi,

Is there any way to add the claim validation pop-ups back in the batch send claim module (version 15.2). I tried to enable it from setup but it shows only the text next to the claim. Before (version 14.2) if you try to send an incomplete claim it will be a pop-up reminder and the claim didn't get sent.

Thank You

If you attempt to send a claim that has missing information the text will show up on the grid as to what is missing but there should also be a popup that says "Not allowed to send e-claims with missing information." for the first claim with missing information you have selected that it comes across. No claims will be sent if you have any invalid claims selected.

Until you attempt to send the claims we don't validate information. We used to do so on loading the window but for large practices loading the window would take 10 minutes or more because they may have 100 or more claims to validate.

In addition to what dgraffeo has mentioned, there was an enhancement to the Claim Send window in version 15.2.12 that added a preference you can enable in Setup->Manage->Manage Preferences called "Claims Send window validate on load (can cause slowness)". Turning this on will make claims be validated when loading the Claim Send for like it did in prior versions. Any missing information will be listed in the grid as David mentioned.
