This Question is for the OD staff...
Why can't one delete a treatment planned procedure that a patient is never going to complete that was previously attached to a pre-authorization without first deleting the pre-authorization claim first? Why do I have to delete the record of requesting the preauthorizaton?

This is feature request #3753. I recommend you promote this request by adding comments, votes, and pledges towards it.
Re: Deleting Preauthorized procedures
This is my work -around, as I like to save old pre-authorisations, so I know what had been sent in the past.
Take the procedures on the pre-authorisation and save them to a treatment plan. I change the title to "pre-auth sent 01/01/15" or similer.
Now you delete the pre-authorisation. Then delete the procedures that will never happen from "default". Its a bit of a pain, but you clean things up.
