Insurance payments by Credit Card

How are you handling insurance payments made by "Virtual Credit Cards". We receive a payment on a claim by a credit card that has to be manually entered. We have set up a payment type of Virtual Credit card to help track this but I wonder what other options we have?

How are you handling insurance payments made by "Virtual Credit Cards". We receive a payment on a claim by a credit card that has to be manually entered. We have set up a payment type of Virtual Credit card to help track this but I wonder what other options we have?

There's an option definitions for Insurance Payment Types. We use Check, EFT, and Credit Card and you can select the appropriate option when creating an insurance payment on a claim. Is that the payment type you made or just the general payment type? Also, the reports in OD will show all of these payments as insurance checks on the heading, but you'll be able to specify just a specific payment type if you would like.

Thanks we had a problem because a claim was "not finalized" setting it up as a payment type under insurance payment worked.
