unable to update OD " http status 404 not found"

I am currently on version 15.1.27 and recently moved my OD database from a windows 7 pc standalone to a windows 7 VM

Have recently been unable to update OD, with the error "HTTP status 404 not found".

How can I remedy this?

It sounds like the Website Path for Updates is not connecting.

Can you go to Help > Update > Setup (UL Corner) and let me know what the Website Path for Updates is?

Try changing the open-dent to opendental and see if that yields any results.
Also, try browsing to http://www.open-dent.com. It should redirect you. If it doesn't, please let me know.

Nope changing to http://opendental.com/updates did not work either.
On my browser , redirection is ok

Can you try changing your default browser? If that doesn't work, we can troubleshoot as a support call and use other methods to get you the version you are after, if needed.
