Problem with URL generated by patient portal

I searched and found only one thread where the suggestion was to update OD to a lower version than what I am already running

I followed the steps as outlined http://www.opendental.com/manual/patien ... setup.html

I then tried to access the URL to log in with a dummy patient and after going to the URL, it states "Validating URL" and then gives the error: Invalid URL. Please try again or contact your provider."

I've tried undoing everything and redoing it... I've also tried in various browsers with the same results (obviously because there is something screwy happening somewhere not with my install I believe)

ideas?

call customer support, they fixed it for me.
