Billing & Collections 3rd Party

Post by drmaximus » Wed Sep 17, 2014 5:18 am

Is there a 3rd party billing/EOB posting company that works well with OpenDental. My front desk is getting overwhelmed and I would like to out source this. Anyone else do this?

Thanks!

It'll probably get much easier once you start using electronic EOBs if your clearinghouse supports it.

Thinking of switching to EDS. Just spoke with them and they are 88% working with OpenDental where even the payments submitted through ERA will be autoposted.

They do but you have to do a little manual dance because they do not automatically download reports for you. See the "Troubleshooting" section at the bottom of this page:

@drmaximus

Have you found a solution to your billing needs from 2014? I am an experienced dental office manager with over 10 years of dental billing experience. I have even worked for the insurance company Delta Dental for a few years and have a unique inside look at how insurance companies function. I have completed a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and I am currently a candidate for completing a MBA from UCDenver.

I have recently started my own dental billing company and would love an opportunity to discuss what I can offer your practice. Since my company CDT Pros was created by an experienced office manager, you can be confident in the services we offer. We never charge additional hidden fees or harass your patients and staff. We understand how important and delicate these relationships are to a thriving dental practice. There are no contracts and we only get paid after month end reports, based on a small negotiated percentage of your insurance collections (2%-3.5% based on volume of insurance receivables).

You can reach me at cdtpros@gmail.com, or by phone (801) 871-5517. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Rebecca
