Sheet Output Defaults

Post by pstuckey » Sat Sep 13, 2014 6:03 am

Is there a way to change the Sheet Output default? When we print a patient letter, if the patient has an e-mail, the system automatically defaults to "0" print copies. I would like it to default to "1" regardless of e-mail.

+1

The staff here always changes 0 to 1 for print, and unchecks to email. Lots of extra clicks. Wish there was an option!

Interesting, I hear this complaint a lot but no one seems to take the time to vote / comment on similar feature requests which is where we go to gauge what people want to see next.
E.g. feature request #3244 "Referral letter paper copies setting."
http://opendental.com/manual/featurerequests.html

Granted, request #3244 is specific in regards to when it pops up for referrals, but it wouldn't be hard at all to take that request and make it so that any scenario where the "sheet output" window shows up can be dictated by user settings.
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

Jason, thanks for the honest feedback and feature #. I did look there but was using "print" and didn't see that one.

Proper vote logged. I encourage others to as well.

I shall add "printing" as a keyword to that request to help others find it easier!
