Exporting reports in a csv file

Post by aussiedentist » Mon May 19, 2014 5:35 pm

I need to get my payments into a file i can put into a spreadsheet, but it only looks like i can print it off.

Is it possible to export it?

Yes, but you'd use a query for that.

Pick a query here that matches the one you want http://opendentalsoft.com:1942/ODQueryL ... yList.aspx (apply the 'payment' filter to just show the payment examples), then copy the one you want and go to Reports > User Query and paste it into the box at the upper left of the window that pops up and click 'Submit Query'. You will have to edit the date ranges in the example to match what you want.

Once the query has run, click 'Export' at the bottom right and choose the format you want to export to.

As Wjstarck mentioned, you will have to run a query to export. If you're just looking for the same information the daily payments report gives you, query example #792 is almost exactly the same.
