Florida Probe

Post by Stan » Thu Mar 27, 2014 6:38 am

I have a hygienist leaving within a month due to relocation. I'm thinking this might be a good time to think about upgrading our perio charting method. Anyone using the Florida Probe and how does it integrate with OD? Thanks

I am using it and it integrates very well with OD. Clicking the FP program link button in the patients chart, will cause FP to open to that patient's FP chart, or create a new one if the patient never had one before. Dexis works the same way, as probably other program links as well. Love the audible feedback FP gives while probing. Makes an impression on the patient. Also, like to give the pt a copy of their charting with all the red areas showing what needs work.
