email program...no more MS Outlook Express!!!

We have been using MS outlook express. Changed out or xp pro computers and now using Windows8.1
I use open office for my word processing, etc. I do not want to buy MS Office just to get outlook express.

Is there an email program that you like?

I use Thunderbird. It's free and can do most if not everything outlook can.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
