Since changing to OD from Dentrix my receptionists have been pounded by phone call from patients confused about their statements.
One documented issue goes like this:
10/14/13 Pro,ex $103.00
10/17/13 Electronic payment $103.00
11/4/13 Patient gets statement: Total: $103; -Ins Estimate $0.00; Balance $103.00
No payments are shown on a statement printed > 2wks after the insurance payment.
I know I can uncheck the "Include any accounts with insurance payments or procedures since last bill" in the billing options screen but showing a balance weeks after the account went to zero shouldn't happen?

You might not be putting payments in right or something it sounds like to me. It would no longer show as an estimate. Better call support.
