Signing Treatment Plans

Post by MKM » Tue Oct 08, 2013 7:19 am

We use the treatment planning procedure to track all treatment recommended for our patients. The treatment plan screen allows you to save the treatment plan and have patients sign it on a topaz pad, documenting that they were informed of what was needed to be done.
BUT......there is no way to store or retrieve the signed treatment plan. Tech support tells me that I need to PRINT the sign treatment plan with the electronic signature, then RESCAN it back into my image module.]
They assure me that the document is "In the Database" except no one can tell me where we can retrieve it,.
Seriously????
How are the rest of you getting around this obvious glitch?

If other's feel as strongly about this subject, I recommend voting towards it - feature request #2998. So far no one has voted on it at all. We use this system to see what is important to our users.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

After signing a TP, there are two things you can do. For your records, you can 'print to PDF' feature, then import back into images. If you just want to view it, when you go to print it you can do print preview and view it without printing.

It is another step, and wish it would save automatically to images like other things do.
