Spell Check in Sheets

Post by drtech » Thu Feb 21, 2013 2:15 pm

Really excited to see the addition of spell check in Open Dental Text boxes, but disappointed it does not seem to work on sheets? This is where I would like it the most as I would like spell check before I send out referral slips and letters. Internal info is not as critical as info going out to other people. Can this be added?

I very much agree with this suggestion. Without having looked deeply into the code, I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard to implement because we're already using RichTextBox controls (which the new spell check box is an RTB) and we'd just have to replace each occurrence of the "old" RTB's with our custom one. I'll see what Jordan thinks about this.

Jordan mentioned there was already a feature request to spell check in other parts of the program and that votes should be added there. If I recall correctly, you compile OD and don't have access to the request system so that doesn't really help you much but maybe other users will see this post and put their votes towards it.
