Task Priority

Post by Pruce Dental » Sat Feb 16, 2013 8:46 am

Is there an easy way to mark tasks on a certain employees task list as being more urgent that others that have low priority? Sometimes I will have 10 things on a certain employees list which they are not going to be able to get too immediately. Since they cannot read my mind, I am looking for a way to show them which task needs to be completed with more priority such as urgent, normal, low priority etc... Now I am just writing on the task this info but was wondering if there is a better way or if there is a feature request for this or if anybody else wanted this feature besides me.

The task list needs upgrading for usability. I think your idea would help for sure for more important tasks.

Another thing that would really help is to have the date part of the task list actually work like a tickler file. I am really wanted to get this going and might try to work on this tickler feature as a plugin if I can figure it out. That way when we have something due on the 21st of the month, then it appears on the 21st and stays until finished or reassigned another date. This would help organization quite a bit.

PracticeWorks user here considering the switch when OD features surpass existing features in PW for my office. Do you guys have any sort of automated task list or is it on your feature request list? I've attached some screen shots of how PW is set up for this:
