best value xray sensor 2013

I see this topic kind of petered out a couple years ago in 2011, so I am wondering if there's any new best value out there on new digital xray sensors. I am disappointed to see that prices haven't gone down a bit in the last 5 years on EVA sensors,..still 6000 bucks on net32. Of my two EVA sensors I got 5yrs back,..one just went belly up, the other is working fine. I was hoping that, by now, there'd be some 'decent' Chinese sensors for 998 bucks, including software and funny manuals.
