2013 Code Changes

Post by atd » Wed Jan 02, 2013 6:45 am

I upgraded to the latest version last night but the only change I see is the new fluoride code. Descriptions are still the same and none of the other codes were added. Is there something else I need to do?

I think all the codes were added. Try checking the box for Show Hidden and then select all categories. As for the descriptions not changing, I'm not sure. We will be looking into that in the morning (Thursday).

I'd already looked in the hidden categories before posting the message.

List...Procedure codes....look on the bottom left for "tools"....then make sure you have checked add ADA 2011 codes then "run Now" and they will be added....

Jordan....should OD now default to adding the ADA 2012 claim form instead of the ADA 2006 form when adding a new insurance plan?

LOL

I think Jordan got pissed at the A D A one time when he was negotiating CDT code licensing so he banned that word. I think...

It would be helpful if these instructions were posted somewhere on the website. The home page just says you have to upgrade to a certain version to get the new codes and doesn't mention the tool. It's now updated to "2013" but when I first looked at the tool it listed 2011 as the codes it would add if you ran it - so I didn't run it.

Just a suggestion to help users out and avoid a lot of phone calls to your support team.

The web site has been updated and now the home page has a link to our CDT 2013 page. http://opendental.com/manual/codes2013.html
That page should contain the steps and required versions to get the codes.
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

Clicked the link as I just loaded the trial version. It says Error 404... You have found a page not available. Can someone help me set up current CDT codes in my trial version for evaluation?... Thanks
