We are brand new users and need help with entering beginning balances from our old ledger card system. Where do you enter the balance forward into the system?

You may need to contact Open Dental Support to make sure you get the right answer to that question. I would imagine that the vast majority of users on this forum are like me and they converted from some other computerized practice management software and the balance forward amount for each account was moved into Open Dental by the conversion process that Open Dental did for us. Moving from a paper ledger system is a more unique situation but I am sure the support team can point you in the right direction. I trust you will find the support team very helpful as I have when I call with questions.
