Batch Archive or Inactivate patient

Post by djanash@mac.com » Sun Dec 16, 2012 7:18 pm

we just dropped a POS union plan and we'd like to avoid the tedium of Archiving or Inactivating these patients (about 60) - whats the best way to do this?

I think I've heard this problem before. It doesn't happen too often for other offices which is most likely why there isn't a tool within Open Dental for it yet. You can vote on feature request #265 but no one else seems to want it that badly. My best suggestion would be to give us a call and we can write you a query to run to do this. However we charge $90 an hour so you might just have someone sit down and do it the tedious way, unless you think you'll need to do this again in the future.
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
