How do you get on the 2006 claim form block #2 Preauthorization number to display on a claim? I tried placing the number in the miscellanous tab on the "edit claim" screen in the "preauthorization (rare)" spot but it does not display on the claim when previewed.
ohh. I am on version 12.4.7

Re: Preauthorization number
Double click on the claim line in the Account module and enter the number in the "Predeterm Benefits" box at the top of the window.

Re: Preauthorization number
Dr Bonilla is correct. That "Preauthorization (rare)" box will populate the PriorAuthString on claim forms.
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

Re: Preauthorization number
PriorAuthString is the "Field Name" of the claim form item.
Basically it's one of the "blue boxes" that can be moved around on your claim form when inside the Edit Claim Form window.
For more information, if you're curious, see this page (particularly the editing claim forms section): http://opendental.com/manual/claimforms.html
